Situated on the north end of Vancouver Island, Mount Cain offers a unique experience for skiers, snowboarders and backcountry explorers. Only a short drive (roughly two hours) from the north end of the island or Courtenay and Campbell River area, Mt. Cain is ideal for families and snow enthusiasts of all skill levels.

Mount Cain has received one of Ski Canada's "best community ski hill" awards in their annual Best of Skiing in Canada awards.  The awards were presented in Ski Canada's winter 2005 issue. We also received a wall plaque that will be proudly displayed in our lodge.

• Before Christmas the mountain is open Saturday and Sunday From 9:30 am -3:30pm.

• After Christmas the mountain is open Saturday, Sunday and on those Mondays when school groups are Scheduled.
• On Mondays, only the lower t-bar and handle tow will be in operation and half day rates will be charged all day.
• Visitors should call the Snow Line ahead of time to confirm Monday openings.
