At Eagle Pass Heliskiing we offer some of the best small group heliskiing and riding on the planet. With over 1000 sq. km or 600 sq. miles of ski terrain in an area known for huge snowfalls we always have untracked areas to go to. With an intimate private lodge,epic runs and experienced guides and pilots we can offer you an unforgettable Canadian heliski experience.

Eagle Pass Heliskiing wrapped up an epic inaugural season in March 2007. We had an overwhelming positive response from our guests and many experienced heliskiers stated the ski terrain was among the best they had seen. The tree skiing terrain in particular was simply awesome and by seasons end we had skiied over 40 new tree runs with most of these within 6 minutes flight from the lodge. The guests were also impressed with the lodge and the level of service recieved. Ease of access and no avalanche closures when arriving through Kelowna made getting to Eagle Pass a no hassle experience.

Eagle Pass Helicopter Skiing is a new tenure which lies in the heart of the best helicopter skiing country in Canada, the Monashee Mountains. Our tenure is bordered by two of Canada’s largest helicopter skiing companies Canadian Mountain Holidays and Selkirk Tangiers Helicopter Skiing and is just south of Mike Wigele Helicopter Skiing’s southern boundary.
      
This area of the Monashees is known for deep snow. The west slope of the Monashees is the first mountainous area east of BC’s Coast Mountains. Because of this we get near coastal amounts of snow with cooler interior temperatures. This high quality snow, coupled with perfectly spaced trees, open bowls and glaciers results in what many experienced skiers consider to be the best deep powder helicopter skiing in the world. At Eagle Pass Helicopter Skiing we have many classic tree runs very close to the lodge. This fantastic close skiing is a great advantage during periods of heavy snowfall.

At Eagle Pass Heli skiing, safety is our first priority.

Our guides are certified to meet or exceed the qualification requirements of our industry's professional association. Our lead guides are all fully certified UIAGM mountain guides with many years of prior lead guiding experience. All guides are experienced in avalanche forecasting, advanced first aid, mountain and avalanche rescue.

The safety of our guests is our primary consideration at Eagle Pass Heli skiing and it is required that all guests follow their guides’ instructions carefully. Eagle Pass Heli skiing has a comprehensive Risk Management Program and Rescue Plan in place with regards to skiing and flying. We are in daily contact with the Canadian Avalanche Association and are contributors to this association’s industry information exchange. Our years of experience in the heliskiing industry allow us meet or exceed our professional association’s high standards.

All guests will be required to attend a heli skiing and helicopter safety lecture and transceiver/avalanche exercise prior to skiing. 

Eagle Pass Helicopter Skiing is pleased to have Arrow Helicopters of Revelstoke as our aircraft provider. All Arrow Helicopters pilots have a high level of experience with winter mountain flying, and the local area in particular and we at Eagle Pass Helicopter Skiing are extremely pleased to be working with them.
      
We will be flying with powerful and comfortable Aerospatiale (A-Star) helicopters which are ideal for small group helicopter skiing. This helicopter seats four guests on a bench seat in the back. Everyone faces forward and there is plenty of leg room.
